During the descent when the image of the bird was lost I was heartened to hear the rotor RPM's remaining steady. It meant the pilot was pushing the nose down to maintain rotation and forward air speed. Good job.

i could be wrong though did they find out why the engine failed?

sounded to me like a drive belt came loose that engine sounded like a motorcycle.
