1:09 Luckily I managed to freeze all three enemies here. Usually I'd only catch two, and the third would hamper my collecting of the Power Bombs.
1:27 Botwoon. My second lucky boss fight. I feel a little sorry for Botwoon, as he is annihilated by the Plasma Beam. Anyway, the luck came in his pattern, resulting in my second charged shot hitting him twice.
1:43 It's necessary for a short delay here, to make sure I got the charged spark before entering Norfair, as the spark saves more time than you lose here.
2:34 Golden Torizo. A fairly standard fight, with me exploiting his 'sweet' spot. If you position yourself correctly, a nudge behind his front foot, nothing he can do can hurt you at all. =) Also, the reason I crouch is that if you time your shots correctly, you can hit him twice per shot.
3:08 I paused here, hoping to get some Super Missiles for the Ridley fight, but Golden Torizo was feeling stingy, and only dropped two. =(
4:10 I get these now, rather than later, as it's an extra five Super Missiles for Ridley.
4:30 I do a small jump here, and shoot downward, to clear both of the shot blocks, saving unmorphing inside the tunnel and shooting again.
4:45 Normally I'd fight one of these at a time, killing each with a charged Plasma shot, but I somehow managed to hit the second as I was killing the first, meaning I could then kill the second quicker too. =)
5:00 Ridley. He didn't move too much at the start, meaning I could unload a number of my Super Missiles in quick succession. Then more shot counting. This is never an exact science, as you cannot always see that all of your shots connect, but the idea is to reduce his health to zero, where he enters his 'death mode'. He will then normally swoop around until he's decided he's had enough, and will then die. However, if you use a Power Bomb at this stage, he'll immediately grab you and end the fight. Luckily this wasn't necessary, as he decided to play nice, and grabbed me straight away.
7:11 You'll notice that I wiggle on crumble blocks. This is because if you turn at the right moment on them, you fall much faster than normal, so wiggling gives me a better chance of doing so.
8:28 Unlike the original game, the doors here aren't sealed, so you do not need to kill the Metroids. I therefore just fall and shoot the door.
8:40 Standard stuff here. Removing your suits means that you take more damage, so it doesn't take as long to damage yourself on the enemy, and then again when taking damage from the Metroid.
