i grew up on a government base in karachi, pakistan. ive seen kids growing up poor, boy. don't you ever say you grew up poor when u had a fucking nintendo
-
@Kachukeland probably because you know someone who lets you live extremely cheap somewhere. no way you could find your own apartment on the west coast WITHOUT being in section 8 or some shit for under 400/month. maybe if u eat ramen noodles twice a day for ur only meal all week. and u already have a car ur parents got u. dont try and act like ur some hipster musician "just trying to make it". there are like millions of guys like that who will never be successful playing music.

@chestermolester33 I commented on yours because it was the most gleefully hateful comment I'd ever received on this video. :)
power pad came from a garage sale, so pretty cheap. Blue shorts, but I can see how they'd look rainbow. Dad's basement. Lived there while in college. Grew up poor, stayed poor. Now living on the west coast, looking for music work. I live comfortably on $9,000/year, with no gov't benefits what-so-ever. A few times a week, I buy food for the homeless guy down the street.

@Kachukeland haha actually I am a second year law student :)))) but i see you have time to respond to my comment almost immediately despite not commenting on this video in almost a year HAHAHAHA. lol, wow, what happened to your life? why are you working fast food? went from being able to afford a power pad and nintendo (NOT CHEAP BACK IN THE DAY), to some rainbow trunks and backwards cap living in his moms basement, to now working fast food and living in a studio apartment in section 8? HA

@chestermolester33 lol, wow, dude. You know, I made this video 3 year ago. But, the only thing that's changed is that I don't live there anymore. I'm working fast food, 37.5k is WAAAAAY more than I make in a year, and I don't get to play my nintendo as much as i used to. Is it any surprise that I'm not that much different from millions of other people in the U.S.? :)
Thanks for the comment, have fun in high school.

@Kachukeland yeah right look at you dude, you are some ex frat boy with a backwards hat and fucking rainbow swimming trunks on. you are a tool. you probably got some shitty entry level job as a drone to a computer for 10 hours a day making 37.5k per, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. you have plenty of time to devote to retro gaming you tool.
-
mine never worked right ......always had to stomp on it
-
@MRwescoolya yes i do! but I don't live in may parents basement anymore.. nor time to devote to playing retro games...
hahaha acting like you don't have time to play video games anymore. yet you have time to update your myspace music page which you think makes you a musician. HAHAHAHA. another one of those trendy emo kids. if you grew up POOR, you wouldn't have a nintendo, or a power pad. if you grew up poor, and were still poor, you wouldn't be on the fucking internet. you'd be worried about where your next meal would come from.

@chestermolester33 poor by U.S. standards, of course. Luckily, we have high standards.
I understand there are people living in mud in other countries. But here, poor is when you wear the same clothes over and over before you wash them, your parent (singular) can't pay the water bill, your house smells like mold, you steal food from your school cafeteria so you'll have something to eat later that night when you're at home, and you lay shivering near a miniature electric furnace at night.
