Paul played Nashville Tennessee for the first time ever on July 26th. I thank my lucky stars that I had pulled my camera back out to catch the impromteu version of "Tequilla." (I had decided to give the camera a rest after my battery light came on during "Let 'Em In") After "Let 'Em In," (see video #07) McCartney went into "My Love" and the setlist cheatsheet I had with me said "I've Just Seen A face" and "And I Love Her" were next. I had decided to conserve the battery for those and a few more songs that are well documented on the "Good Evening New York" DVD.
HOWEVER instead of "I've Just Seen a Face," Paul did "I'm Looking Through You" !! WHAT! I don't think he has performed that song before this tour -- ever! But I missed it and didn't want to start mid-way thru the song. But then he went into "Tequilla". So I HAD to record that bit of silliness. (see my video excerpt #08) Camera was still out when he started "Two Of Us". And Holy-friggin-cow -- I was in HEAVEN. That is one of my favorite Beatles tunes (from "Let It Be").
Sadly, I didn't have the camera focussed tighter. But you get a nice wide-angle shot. Sound is still good.
