How to mapping headphones & FWD/BACK??
-
@audioedge You may have already covered this, but I can't figure out how to set the filter. I can't get the shift+hi knob work. Any help will be hugely appreciated!

ah, no worries, i tried that before i found your vid, i'm trying to map multi functions to my trusty mpd's rotaries and faders but cannot make head nor tail of the mapping process, it's not as intuitive as it was with serato...

@GaragebandRocks its midi so i guess so

dude, you are a legend. i have just got traktor pro after 4 years on serato and am having lots of trouble to get the midi mapping in the controller manager to do what i want, any chance you can do a screencast video of how you mapped the programme to the hardware, there are hardly any instructions in the manual and the ones that are in there do not work for me....thanks

@bidders77 i would recommend going to the djtechtools website and the native instruments forum to help with mappings. i no longer have the x-session, i now have a dnsc 2000, and denon provide a mapping for it.

what would you need to do a party with one of these? how would i hook up headphones, amp, pre amp n loud speakers?
bonephi 1 year ago
@bonephi you need a computer with traktor, a soundcard with 2 outs and headphone monitor - thats it. just hook your master out into the amp (or into a mixer if you prefer). loads of ways to do it. i personally split channels 1 and 2 and feed them into my mixer, then mixer into the amp.
