The Marian Hall was built in 1954 and held lots of special memories for villagers who were treated to top class Variety shows and the finest music and storytelling from the locality. Badminton and Bingo were also held inside the compact hall. It was demolished in November 1996 to make way for a modern and more comfortable Marian Hall.
