[slugbug] If you keep making all of those car wash videos they are going to make you an honorary german

This machine was operating perfectly when I used it, and left me with a totally clean car. Yay.

It's one of the very few machines that can actually wash a hatchback without leaving drooly bits of crap on the rear glass.

As of some time in the spring of 2009, this machine has been replaced by what appears to be a Softgloss XS 2 (2.5?).

  • water wizard 2.0 is better

  • @abdulmoe I'd love to try out a Water Wizard 2.0. I've used the original Water Wizard but wasn't very impressed.

  • That's just a Ryko Slim Line dryer. Nothing special..

  • Some of them do... this one had no artwork or labelling to speak of.

I've also seen a Softgloss XS where the customizable sign plate on the machine just said "Softgloss XS". You're supposed to provide your own graphics, you silly borks! XD

  • @hyvahyva thay had 1 of these here in jacksonville but it had no slimlind dryer in sted it had a thruspro

  • Ya very big difference from the original and the 2.0 very impressive honestly i have 2 of them and 14 bays here in canada all jim coleman equipment

  • How much horsepower does the CR16 pump have in the US2001 Overhead?

  • @Macmetz1

Nope. Just a slimline. The Thrust Pro has a follower which floats above the vehicle.

  • Not the best single-head system. The Radius is considerably better- it doesn't "hunt" as much as the old US2001 does.

  • These touchless systems are faster yes, but I still will take at least a soft touch machine any day over one of these. The touchfree machines can never fully get the bird dookie off my car. The Tandem Rite Touch gets my vote for the being the best machine.

  • What model dryer was this - was it the overhead 2001 special edition thrust pro?
