I always personally liked Otter, in the few appearances he made in the series.
I like otters anyway, but still, he's a nice quiet character and he has a cute face in the later design.

Otter was part of the book. I always saw his portrayal as being like a dock worker who is strong yet quiet, gets on with it, and is personable and genuine.

you guys are reading weird things into otter. he's just portrayed a little funny here. in the book he's a totally ordinary guy and that's how i prefer to see him here as well.

AH! What happened to Otter? He looks so much different than in the 'Piper at the gates of dawn' episode. He looked more otterish then.
