  • One of the great country songwriters of all time. Right up there with Hank, and an underrated guitar pickers IMO.

  • in my opinion Willie truly futzed this one up! Such a good song, and he does this to it!

    and tune your guitar, willie!

  • Got to love this, Willie plays a little out of tune as he always has, chords? but that's what makes him so unique, one of a kind. And so funny that two great pickers standing behind him probably loving every minute of him.

  • Well guess the look on Vinnys face says it all ''Where's Willy going with this ?'' lol ..still a great version love Willy ...I agree he is a great song writer to be sure ...:)

  • One of the best live versions ever...Bless Willie and Trigger

  • One of the very best versions ... pure music from a man who acts likes he's just sitting on your couch singing for you.

  • Seen Willie 2 times and Vince 3..... they are both amazing.

Willie Nelson played while his band had a break .... for 15 min. he played a 12 string Spanish Guitar.... it was out of this world.... total he played for 2,5 hours with NO break. Fantastic...

  • Now Albert Lee is a different story, brilliant guitarist from my town of Leominster, Herefordshire, UK. Go Albert, remember Head, Hands & Feet?

  • Saw Willie at Busch gardens FL and he was crap. Worst I have seen.

  • When you can get up and play a solo that badly on stage with Vince Gill and Albert Lee stood behind you and not raise an eyebrow I suppose you've done something right... I once spoke to a bass player who played for willie in the 80s and following his timing when stoned (which is permanantly apparently) sent him nuts! random 7 beat bars and the like are quite normal if you're willie nelson. Just change when he does lol. Amazing songtwriter though!
