@Rockguitarhero462 Smith's original intent of the Cure was to be a literature based post punk group, basically sing songs based on books. While they didn't go that way full forced, this theme is evident in "Killing an Arab", "Charlotte Sometimes", and "How Beautiful You Are". As well as certain lines in other songs, like this one.
