9:12... hehe... how interesting ... John Paul Jones, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page all doing some sort of jig ... hehe - thats just too fun(ny) ...oh at 6:14... that's the start of the Bouree from J.S. Bach's Lute Suites (as popularixed by Andres Segovia for classical guitar)... not bad for a low-slung 'Les Paul'

@RobertB0402 I saw them the 11th at MSG. I remember (partially) that night as one of the best of my life. And yeah, man, the crowd made up for whatever else. It was magic.

@blewsyboy No it's Paint it Black the Rolling Crones.
-
@blewsyboy It Bach's bouree

@williamx747 I saw them at MSG on Monday 06/13/77. What a thrill to be there, but looking back to those shows with all this great access to old videos and bootlegs, I can see that being the case. By '77 it was kinda Led Zeppelin having to be Led Zeppelin - do you know what I mean? But I can almost guarantee that if you were there, you would have been too high to notice-and the fans made up for what any show lacked. That was the majesty of the Led Zeppelin live experience. I'm glad I was there.

@1973JimmyPage It's Bach's Bouree

4:40 ...listen to the sounds of the straining strings in that note bend ... there's something really great about Page's playing - some complain he is 'sloppy' but I say it is raw intensity and that's so much better than the countless 'technical perfectionists' out there running up and down scales with exact precision ....*YAWN* - I'll listen to Page any day over that boring technical exercise stuff. Page is a true artist and inventive and allows the moment to express itself through him.

*irish dancing*

heard the strings crackling:D:D 4:43:D

unfortunately it took hold of them. by their final us tour, my dad said when he saw them page would barely play main riffs and often go off into mindless tangents of wankery, plant's voice off key by a mile and bonzos drumming a crescendo of mud. jpj seemed to keep a tone when he got a part. anyway, i'm rambling, but its a shame that drugs took a hold because they really lost it near the end.

i love the medley of "as long as i have you" on that show, and "you shook me" has some siiick basswork.
-
listen to the HMMT solo from that show , mind blowing

what is your basis for that statement, is it that they are having fun?
i have every other commenter on youtube saying they are high whether they know it or not
-
those were the days...bonzo driving his motorcicle into a hotel entrance hall, page chucks out TV sets from a hotel window, smoking stuff..oh, man, I was born into wrong times...40 years earlier, and I woudn´t have reached 30 years in my life at least ha ha :D
-
they are high as kites. haha
-
That Filmore west bootleg wails. "I can't quit you people, but i think we gotta leave San Fransisco for a little while."
-
lol come on now. i'm a huge zeppelin fan, i love it all. i've got bootlegs, such as the live at the filmore west before they were even famous. despite this i can still admit the difference between them playing well and playing poorly.
-
lmfao i love the end when therye just screwing around, shows how much they loved what they did. And they sure did it well.
-
lol bach solo!
you're a big error.
