Have you ever looked at an airplane and wanted to know how it works? Do rockets, outer space, and satellites excite your imagination? Have you ever wanted to know how NASA shoots satellites into outer space and reach their final destination millions of miles away? Or how an airplane can travel faster than the speed of sound?

This exciting hands-on course explores the science of flight, both on earth and in space. You will also see the fun and always evolving careers one can have working with the air and space industry-from planes, rockets, and satellites to medicine, biotechnology, and nanotechnology.

This course is part of the SPARK - Science for Middle School program at Brown University. Learn more at http://brown.edu/ce/pre-college/spark/
