Nagar Nigam, concerned citizens, social organizations, Al Barqaat and, Aligarh Police came together in February 2009 during the annual fair 'Numaish' and created a Traffic Education Park for small children (7 to 12).
The Park featured a miniature city and country side where small children drove electrically powered vehicles under expert guidance and supervision. This was preceded by a briefing on traffic rules. The children were issued mock driving licenses and there were rewards for offence free driving. Just like the real world offences invited penalty and three of them led to impounding of the license.
A very nyc try

A very good initiative indeed....I hope the traffic park will operate regularly (and not only during the exhibition)...It will be good if the police and concerned authorities team-up with the schools to provide regular training to the kids
A very genuine initiative by police....such initiatives can break the ice between the police and common people and establish the trust.
