"The Rayne" was a band I was in way back in high school. (Three of us attended Roosevelt High School in Yonkers NY, the other two of us went to Tuckahoe High School in Tuckahoe, NY.)

  • @OldPhones333 Since we haven't played together in more than 40 years, I think it's unlikely that we'll get back together at this point, but I certainly appreciate the thought!

  • @HMishkoff Thanks. You should all thinking of getting this back together. Tou'd be surprised by how wide the pallet can be these days. If it's good it's good. I would urge you to keep the instrumentation vintage rather than listening to some soon-to-be-outdated producer or engineer's opinion about using midi or synth to "up-date" the sound. The bass in a lot of this mid-60's stuff gets kind of buried. I boosted the bass on my speakers and was blown away by what I heard. Nice playing, man.

  • Made my day, thanks!

    * Barry (left) teaches history in high school, but he still backs up Glen Frye on keyboards when he goes on tour.

    * Lisa was a backup singer for Rick James for a few years.

    * Lenny (front) produced music videos for a while (including some for Bon Jovi), now he produces political ads.

    * I (right) played commercial R&R for a few years, now I develop database software and play only for my own enjoyment.

    * Paul (drummer) still plays in a band on weekends.

  • This is great. The voices are sweet and sit so nicely together. This drummer is something special. What are the names of each of the players? Who went on to be in other bands? It'd be a shame if you all just stopped making music.
