jkOnTheRun- HP tx2051 video review

James Kendrick of jkOnTheRun shows off the HP tx2051 Entertainment Notebook that is also a fine, although a bit heavy, Tablet PC. The tx2051 has dual digitizers providing a very nice touch screen and an active digitizer for use as a Tablet PC. James shows us how well the touch screen works for interacting with the screen and demonstrates inking with the Wacom pen. Enjoy the video.

Try restarting the computer on TABLET MODE & Switch it back to NOTEBOOK MODE...

James, how do you compare this with the HP 2730 TabletPC you reviewd? I'm inquiring about digitizer performance for stylus input, battery life, and video performance? Can the 2730 match up to this & the TX2z model? Trying to decide between the 2. thanks.

i ordered a tx2500z today with Vista Home premium sp1 (32bit), amd 2.0ghz, 3gb of ram, 160 gb HDD

hey mate, if it says 2xxx then its the older one, if it has 25xx its the newer, for example, a tx2500 is the same as a tx2514,tx2421ca, and so on, but make sure it says TX25 not tx20

what's the difference which is the newest one

because circuit city had it cheap but it was the 2510

i didn't know if that was the new or old

and the hp website doesn't have the tx2510

if you get the tx2500z (the newer version of this laptop) with 4 gigs of RAM vista will run like a charm

thats a good idea but this pc you can get with SOOOOOO much memory the one im getting from ebay has 320 gigs of memory so i would probably end up running xp vista linux and MAYBE if i wish (i probably wont) osx but this thing is so powerful vista will probably run like xp (if you get the 4 gig of memory model, which is also in the one im getitng) and dont hesitate getting it from ebay because it's in ebay stores not bidding based
