  • this would work if the world was perfect its usely 2 people on a hose team not 4 and seeing conditions are slim to none

  • Hand and eye coordination skills, and test to stimulate the brain, e.g. memory games.

This helps from knots, to not having the use of your sight (Searching a large storage area making a knot every 2m lengths(But this is all with drills and skills that you will learn.))

  • health and safety spoils too much , if the ff being hauled up cant hold on he shouldnt be a ff ! and of they guys drop him then neither should they, and yes im a FF .

  • nice

  • Nice technique brothers - The helmet is one thing, but what about a belay line & fall arrest protection on the student? If he slips and inverts landing on his head it's game over - The Instructor even mentions the possibilty of the victim catching their hands on the edge. At minimum a thick gymnastic mat that can absorb a fall from the height of the landing should be slid in place immediately after the student is lifted off the floor.

  • Where is your helmet? Sunglasses don't protect your head. FAIL: Lack of proper PPE. ( I don't care If you are an instructor!)
