The Secrets of Successful Inventors VB Features and Benefits

Welcome back to you The Secret of Successful Inventors video blog by John R Hobbs. No matter where youre at the invention process this video blog series will help you. If you have brand new idea that you are just starting to work on, or an idea already on the market this VB series will help you succeed. So whether you are just starting or in some other phase, such as, prototype, developing a business plan, engineering, patent process, finding team, trademark, manufacturing, branding or raising capital or any of the other number of things that are required to become a successful inventor this video blog a will help you waste less time and money getting to market and making a profit.

This lesson is about features and benefits and will help shift your language to speaking benefits only. Since benefits are what sells your product you must develop language which is compelling helping everyone sees that you have any product that will benefit the end user. So the lesson here is pretty simple we take out a piece of paper on one side of the features on the other benefits. Now put line down the center now start writing every feature of your creation has with plenty of space between each feature.
Now on the benefits side Id start putting as many benefit you can think of that that specific feature imparts. Now you will notice that there are many benefits to every feature!! Repeat the process and you will see that the features offer many attributes.

Now on a new sheet of paper start writing and description of your product just use the benefits only language. Developed three or four different versions of your description using just benefit language so you start developing a compelling pitch that will help you move forward with less resistance while attractive the team, capital and other resources you will need to make you invention profitable.
