Can Saltwater Crocodiles still swim in fresh water?

everybody think that nile crocs are cooler because they take down prey much larger than themselves. where saltwater crocs live the items on the menu aren't really big.

I was in the french Guadeloupe archipelago & there are mangroove swamps.
I know that the Guadeloupe is far from the indian & the pacific oceans but why we never found tracks of salt water crocodiles all around the world?

@TheLilalilou Cause saltwater crocodiles actually live in mangroove swamps and there's not many mangroove swamps left in the world.

@vsboy25 Althought the salt water croc is bigger, I think the nile croc is a better hunter
