Railways of South Australia - Peterborough, Pt Augusta and Trans Australia line

Rail action around the Peterborough and Pt Augusta regions in the mid north of South Australia, as well as a photographic trip up to Pimba on the Trans Australia line between 1 and 4 October 2010.

- NR21 and NR80 at Yongala on PS6 freight (0:00)
- NR26 on 4AS8 Indian Pacific climbing towards Dowds Hill just out of Peterborough. (0:38)
- NR97 leading another NR with 6PS7 between Stirling North and Winninowie (1:16)
- SCT009 and SCT011 with 7GP9 at Yorkeys Crossing (1:54)
- NR74 with 1AD8 Ghan at Yorkeys Crossing (2:55)
- NR90 and NR119 with 7PM5 at Bookaloo (4:24)
- SCT007 and SCT010 with 1MP9 at Wirrappa (5:50) and Pimba (7:31)
- NR83 and NR86 climbing away from Wirrappa with 6WP2 (8:11)

@Faxingpoland Over in SA a radio scanner is very useful, although this will change once it all goes digital in a year or so.

I reconized a US K3LA on that aussie diesel! Much better than european horns. I've also heard a P5OC on a classic EMD aussie diesel too. :)
