hiya george from another george i have the same problem i was told it could be a faulty hard drive or a faulty Windows OS disk what i did is take the HD out and format it on my desktop and popped windows 7 in there instead of vista....i never backed my system so i dont have a vista recover cd...send me a pm on my site let me know how u did
