Fatal crash involving a Yamaha motorcycle and a Hyundai Sonata. Motorcycle driver pronounced dead at Alexian Brothers Medical Center. High impact accident with severe damage to the roof, windshield and right-rear passenger compartment of the Sonata automobile.

UPDATE September 7, 2008
Motorcycle victim identified as Dean Schroeder, 39, a Deerfield Fire Department firefighter/paramedic.

"He had this amazing ability to make everyone feel important and he always had a smile and a kind word for others....especially the old ladies in line at Starbucks."
