  • This might be the most energized version of BMW / GQ that exists. You can tell by their expressions, that this was over the top very special. Chepito, Doug Rauch....Michael...Richard, TC, .they were all pumped.

  • @seonittinoes and mine as well. He's been my #1 bass influence since I first saw him in 1973. RIP Doug

  • @metalfunkjazz Santana was going for the Spiritual Jazz thing at this time, and Gregg Rolie wanted to play more Rock. He split back up to Washington to rest and then went with Neal Schon to form Journey

  • @metalfunkjazz That's true. Carlos was running the show at this point, and he could have had Tom Coster play it straight like the original if it bothered him. I guess it didn't, because Coster always played with the dominant 7th.

  • @rodge2001

    oh sorry, my bad

  • If you could watch Leonardo paint or Socrates speak. That's what this video is. It's sacred.

  • @DiegoMJHDBrasil Rolie

  • Dude there's a CD "Lotus" Santana Live in Japan. I believe a original Sony Japanese release but you cab get it domestically I'm sure. It is got to be one of Santanas unnoticed releases in the 70's great stuff

  • @metalfunkjazz

Gregg Holie left the band to found Journey

  • What happened to the original organist from Woodstock? This guy's playing the beginning wrong. The 7th note is a flat.
