This is a great video from 2DF's Kultnacht series of ABBA singing SOS in 1975.
I love the end of the vid, it's really cute when Frida goes and kisses Agnetha on the cheek! So cute!

An article in an old Reading Digest magazine which spoke about that mysterious island where B & B wrote their magical songs led me on to ABBA. Is this the island?

Yes the clips in here are of this Island. I believe it is called Viggso, but please excuse me if I spelt it wrong. This video edit is great I think, I didn't edit it, but I got it from a DVD I own, b ut I just though it was an amazing video.

There's an interview from 1981 where Agnetha calls Frida "one of my best friends".

Rumours of any disdain between Agnetha and Frida is much ado about nothing. Any relationship has friction. In all thier interviews, both Frida and Agnetha both admit there was competition and friction between them, but for the most part they were very supportive of eachother and were good friends. The simple fact is both were absolutely essential in giving ABBA thier totally unique sound and outstanding songs.

Thank you AbbaChick for this video. I love the production and blending of the scenes. I especially love the outside scenes on the island where the girls had no make-up on, and Anna-Fried had a t-shirt (no bra) and Daisy Dukes on! :)

ABBA reminds me of the Ramones. Both made perfect pop/punkrock songs that sound simple but, both have such catchy melodies that are sung against good chord combinations. Just imagine a Ramone version of this song, it would rock like hell.

In the set where they are performing in the blue suits, Agnetha is flirting (innocently) with bjorn during the prior song. Frida gets upset at the closeness and stares between them and elbows Agnetha! In this second song, they make up at the end with a kiss, showing it wasn't anything unforgivable. I'm not making this up

most talk about agnetha and frida hating eachother which is not true they had their differences in the begging yes but after a while they compromised they became closer then sisters they had a friendship that was there through everything and tho they arent as close now they are forever in each others hearts
