Well, make you think is one thing.
But like, there should be some kind of moral, or a spesific problem to think about. Noone kills their friends totaly random. Or, maybe someone does. but that's just not worthy of making a movie about, you should give us some hints of what the character is thinking, how he/her feels, why he/she does it, so we can connect to him/her.

I do not understand how when he hit someone in the first shot, they flew over his car, then at the end he just runs them over. Continuity error?

I show the same exact shot at the beginning and towards the end. I just show more at the end, with him running me over as well.
