@venturafor2012 oh it would have?... newtons third law predicts that the free fall would be... 25 seconds?.. got some news for you.. controlled demolition follows free fall.. so.. you must have calculated that wrong cause things that FREE FALL DONT GET FASTER WITH EXPLOSIVE HELP! free fall is free fall wether its from tipping over or having the floor collapse out from under you. the acceleration is the same. 9.8m/s2. THE SAME, either your holding out on your calculations.. or something.

@venturafor2012 you need to learn how to calculate momentum, and the KE, the building... had ZERO KE, the plane... had 150 tons of mass as you say, moving about ... 400 mph....

go start a fire, and put a metal box around it...its gonna get hot. in-fact! jet fuel burns a temp about = to coal... funny how... coal is used to melt.. steel?? WORD. and even then, it doesn't take molten steel to bring the building down.

@venturafor2012 newtons third law is obviously something you don't understand, neither is physics or properties of steel, jet fuel, KE or PE. you don't understand basic principles of an oven, and i bet you don't know how that applies, you also don't understand the design of the aircraft / building. (Al [Aluminum] + Fe2o4 [Iron Oxide] = Thermite + S [Sulfur] = Thermate --- Thermite + S [Sulfur] and Ba(No3)3 (Barium nitrate] = Super Thermite aka Nano Thermite)

many pieces of the steel was impailed into other buildings... that takes ALOT of energy... more energy then a collapsing building... you should watch "9/11 blueprint for truth on google video it's 2 hrs long...

@ziegerka - 3. We are assuming, just for this argument, that the collapse of the WTC towers on 9/11 was caused by the fire and structural damage from the Plane collisions. Even if that were true (which it is not) and the Collapse got started, it could not have happened in free-fall time.

watch the collapse, all 110 floors were on the ground in less than 10 seconds. Newton's 3rd law of falling bodies would have predicted ~25 seconds... after 9/11 FDNY/NYPD found molten metal...

@ziegerka - 1. The mass of the planes, fully loaded with fuel, was about 150 tons. Each of the 110 floors was about 5,000 tons. So the mass of the planes was negligible.

2. The fuel from the planes was mostly burned up within 20 minutes. The burning of other materials above the impact site was not hot (as indicated by the black smoke and lack of visible flames) and mostly out, and would not add any significant energy to the collapse.

@venturafor2012 the hit caused the Top Floors to collapse, causing the other floors to go down, and it just kinda snowballed. So, it fell until nothing was left.
