@Mauibuilt818 Possibly, except that the Academy is known for not considering Motion Capture filmmaking in any key categories, which is why Tintin was also shut out of the Animated Feature category. His snub is almost second nature and pretty expected to me, which is why I wasn't surprised. Serkis getting the nomination would have been the ultimate surprise, which would have been fun, and I understand the frustrations! The Academy doesn't like what it doesn't understand...
