This is my teammate Michael Hann (Texas A&M gymnastics team). He is also an armwrestler (154lb weight class) who took a bronze medal at the WAF World Championships 2008. He weighed 155lb on this day making this a one arm chin up at about 122% bodyweight.

  • this is godly!

  • Start from a dead hang, not that half flexed arm hang that you push off from with your legs shit that you're doing right now

  • try letting yourself hang for a second or two before you pull up.

  • bird legs haha

  • Feet supposed to be free touch two second then pull up.

  • bruce lee could perform a 50 reps one arm chin ups.. but chuck norris pull ups chin ups w/ no arm hahahahahah

  • @DrAlexisOlson that's incredible because i also am 180 cm and 70-71 kg(155 lbs) but i don't look as muscular as he does, i can't do a 1-arm chin-up even with only my weight and my body fat is about 11% so... what's his secret? i was expecting him to be either shorter or heavier to have more muscle.... Now if I were to swap my arms with my feet i could probably do a few like he does :)

  • That's incredible. I was wondering what he deadlifts and benches. Just because I'm interested in what kind of carryover that kind of lat strength would give to someone in powerlifting. Again huge props to your teammate
