Gary Applegate playing a solo gig. Gary's solo set up allows him to play bass, guitar, harmonica, foot percussion and sing simultaneously. Notice the "HarpLock" harmonica holder. A device created to eliminate the need for a traditional neck worn harp holder. The foot percussion is accomplished with wireless pickups fitted inside his shoes. The bass comes from the bottom four guitar strings routed to a modified octave peddle and played through a separate bass amplifier. Gary doesn't use any looping, drum machines or computer based sequencing. He actually plays all the sounds the audience hears.
