@cytorakdemon get over urself u can easily understand me2 without playing the 1st, i mean so what if u didn't see shepard become a spectre or see the rachni, or see the council burn, all of that is only breifly mentioned here and there in mass effect 2, it doesn't change much yet, i mean so far there is no consequence killing/saving the rachni, or putting anderson incharge of the council, hopefully those choices will effect the outcome of mass effect 3 more but atm those choices dont do much....

@Galkatokk The combat isn't the best - but it's good fun. The overall story isn't the best (certainly not compared to the first) - but it's good fun. The dialogue, character building etc are at the top end of games, and higher end of TV / Movies - but again, could be better. The setting, galaxy etc is just about the best ever - but that's hardly enough. (You get shit Star Wars and 40k games).

It's being Commander Shephard that does it. Playing Mass Effect is like a taste of godhood.

great, wiki the ME1 plot, unfortunatly when 360 owners are talking about the numerous choices that were made in ME1 and the consiquences of those choices that were seen in Mass Effect 2 because of them, the PS3 owners of ME2 will be all "WTF that didn't happen in my copy of Mass Effect 2." Be proud of yourself, PS3 fanboy, you got 1/3 of a space opera epic.

@cytorakdemon Noone whinned for anything. EA saw that they could make a huge profit by releasing the game for the ps3, and we just need to read a summary of mass effect 1 to get an idea of what went on.
