A BNSF Coal train powering up the hill NB at Winlock, WA. This was a realllly long train so I had to cut and run. The sounds of the locos was really cool trackside, they were working HARD !!! Winlock is in between Kelso and Chehalis, Wa on the Seattle-Portland line.

  • I iwll look at the original video and pulls some numbers if I can make them out. I could not stay around till the end of the train came by, so I couldnt say if it had power on the rear or not, but based on the length of the train I would say its a good possibility.

  • Basically, Winlock in a nutshell.

  • *sigh* My parents lived in the old house just across Kerron St. from the tracks, just south of that gas station. We loved visiting them in Winlock. They're buried there, now.

  • they run loaded and empties to a centrailia mine

  • A coal train on that line???

  • What are the numbers? Is this train has a DPU on the end?
