  • so you "have" to have seat belts? they are not required here if they were not original equipment when the car was new.. I mean.. they ARE a good idea.. haha. but they dont look right in some cars.. I like the wheel covers. nice touch

  • @1963impala2dr .....The law states "click it or ticket" here in Oregon, and they're serious....240 buck fines are handed out like candy. These old cars that didn't originally come with seat belts probably escape through that loop hole, BUT, I don't want to be the one on the side of the road trying to convience the cop of my loophole.... I'd rather get pulled over for admiration of my cool car.which happens often. The Port of Portland has it's own force..they're not nice, luckily they like me!

  • Hows the heater? :>

  • @Kbrusky15 ....toasty! and it defrosts the windscreen, something I'm NOT used to

  • Turbo AWD 4g63 recipient? :P Boost ALL the THINGS! :D

The chrome wings branching off from the center light are fairly uncommon. They went away in early '55, so I guess you have a '54? I can't tell... The dash and seats are simply beautiful! I have tons of respect for people who pull out all the stops to preserve these old cars.

"Back in the day", my band's gig-mobile was a '62 Rambler Wagon. 2-speed push-button trans & vacuum actuated wipers that didn't work going downhill. Good times!

  • @Jafromobile .........Haha.....Um well, this is probably not the right car for a DSM swap, but that'd sure be cool clicking off low 11's with a upsidedown bathtub "hovercar". You've been peeking @ my DSM video's.... the vacuum wipers work pretty good on this car but the turning radius is freeking riduclous...... thanks man.

  • Any comments on the "paint job in your mind" and will it ever come to the Nash in the next year? I know this is a series of baby steps. My dad had a red 1954 rambler wagon, and I still remember looking over his shoulder and seeing the road go by under the front floor in places...( until he put a big piece of plywood down )

  • @2stroketurbo same here. click or ticket but . the law is original equipment only.. and the troopers know that.. but the sheriffs dept sometimes dont! had a sheriff pull me over once in the 63 because I didnt have current tabs. lol. of course its the original antique plate and I'm not required to buy tabs.. I explained it and he just said. oh. I wondered how that worked! haha.. mostly he wanted to look at my car

  • @kstadden ..request duley noted ! check the next Nash video, it's ALL about my Nash tailpipe harmonious music and ..It's dedicated to you.

  • I love the sound of a straight six. Somehow your Nash is much more satisifying to hear than my '98 328i, which is also a straight six. 'I grew up in the back of Nashes and REMEMBER the blinky turn signal stalk! YOUR VIDEO WAS A GREAT START TO MY FRIDAY. Thanks again, Mark.
