Check this thing out! 500 bucks, and drew got it put in his name and registered. so that was about 230 bucks extra. Its not road worth, as the camper shall frame is severely rusted out in a few spots. But its an awesome addition for the field. The AC works, but the heater does not. The stove and oven work, and the Propane refrigerator and freezer both work. luckily it came with a full tank of propane (propane propane, time to start the flame) so everything works pretty good, except the rotted out front part. Which sucks, because thats where the biggest bed is. But there are still 2 other sleeping areas.

  • Do you have to pay to simply have the reg documents put in the new keepers name over there?

  • @fusilier45

:( yeah... it was about 300+ bucks for all of that, and 500 dollars for the camper. So it wasn't free, thats for sure.

  • @tommartyn-That sucks man every time you buy a car having to pay that amount or anything even.Do you get hammered on road tax over there or is that reasonable to compensate?

  • @fusilier45

Whats road tax? Yeah man, everytime you buy a car, if you transfer the title, you have to pay about 30 bucks or something, and registration varries per vehicle. this was a really heavy beasts, so it was alot.

  • @tommartyn-We have to pay for a tax disc every year or half year for having a vehicle on the road I just had to tax mine yesterday which was £215 for the year which I wouldn't mind paying but the roads are in such bad state it doesn't seem right. Then theres MOT every year which tests emission and if the vehicle is fit for road use which just set me back over £300.So it seems you guys have it pretty sweet man.Would love to come check US out some time man

  • @fusilier45

Wow, thats pretty different from where i live. I know all the states in the US have their own different laws, and taxes. Here in pa, you register it to have it on the road, And that is for the cost of your license plate, judging by weight class. Other then that, you just have to get it inspected and emissions checked every year. which is about 100 bucks maybe? Some states don't have inspections, and others have tire tax's. Weird stuff :)
