and now for something else completely different.. :)

a little while back, my good lady asked me what i wanted for christmas.
i said (half jokingly) 'an animation for my advent calendar'.
she said 'ok'!
she's never used adobe flash before and had almost no experience in filmmaking.
she did tons of research on youtube and used her imagination to come up with the concept to the song. i've tried things like this before and i know how hard it is!
i'm really proud of her, hope you guys are :)
show her some love innit! x

this should inspire you to go looking for any sort of tutorial online and learn a new skill. there's nothin stoppin you!!!

I couldn't agree more about looking up tutorials for things when you want to be creative. I learned all I know about Photoshop, Sony Vegas, Premiere, etc. just by looking up tutorials on the web. They've helped push college work up by a few marks, they've helped me do things I'm good at, and they really help express my creative side. Maybe because of this video I'll start learning Flash! Nice animation, and nice cover!

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments :) I've only just watched the video for the first time now, I was worried as I've never uploaded anything to Youtube before. To the Lady who created the animation: you did a really awesome job! I went to a middle school for computer design and we had a class for animating and I have to tell you that 80% of my former schoolmates did a load of nothing compared to your animation :) For someone who never animated before is this first class!!
