Look at the original hebrew or mizrahi/yemenite hebrew pronunciation of hebrew. Every Arabic letter and sound is represented except for ghain, THaa' and DHaa'.

In Israel, where Hebrew is natively spoken, this is very commonly understood.

I think if you really paid attention and learned the arabic alphabet you'd be surprised how much arabic you know from hebrew roots.

אני למדתי ערבית, ומעבר לזה- זה היה גם המקצוע האהוב עליי
נכון שיש לשתי השפות מילים משותפות\שאולות אבל עדיין, כשאני שומעת ערבית אני לא יכולה להבין מה הם מדברים. מי שדובר עברית לא ידע להבין ערבית אלא אם כן הוא ילמד את השפה כשם שלומדים אנגלית.
