Acer Aspire One ↔ cracked screen

Acer Aspire One screen cracked for no aparent reason.The screen has broken inside (the outside of the screen is immaculate). Screen stopped working and had like cracked lines.
My 8.9 Aspire One screen cracked as well with no force applied just opened it up to use it one day and the display was screwed. I have since found other people on the web with the same problem.
I bought 3 months ago

ACER ASPIRE ONE's 8.9" model have a lot reports of cracked screens. From a little surfing on the net there are HUNDRED'S of people that have one of these netbooks with screens cracking after as little or 1 or 2 months use? Some serious DESIGN FAULT somewhere. is the screen surround flexing?

Even try to point out to them the NUMEROUS WEB PAGES that are just FULL of accounts from upset customers, of their screens breaking for no reason at all they will deny there is any kind of defect and assert that they NEVER get complaints. I was even told maybe ours was just the ONE fluke, one laptop that somehow mysteriously was bad.... Right. Very disingenuous. I will never buy another Acer product (including Gateway or eMachines).

@Cafu900 No me queda mas hermano, porque en comentarios que lei de muchas personas a las que le paso lo mismo reclamaron por la garantía y Acer respondió que no era falla de ellos sino del dueño y si quieres que te la arreglen te cuesta $ 140 y si no quieres que le hagan nada igual te cuesta 40 por revisarla eso sin contar los costos de envío..

Definitivamente Acer es un pésima marca nunca mas vuelvo a comprar algo de Acer...

I have the same problem. It happened the 3th day of use. I'm going to buy a new display in order to fix it... Hope it works.. =(

I just took it as many times before for the screen and heard a CLICK. There was a black line as shown in this video. Poor housing for the screen without a metal frame.
