@tahhana86 I would venture that he means "not sung," as in the person never got the chance to "sing" the song that is his life.

Of course, I read that this song may be about a friend who passed away quite young; hence, the lost opportunity at life's "song," as it were...

At any rate, and incredibly lovely song; Brett's voice is so moving...

I need an English lesson here: does "unsung" mean "not sung yet" or "sung but then reverted"? the 1st one makes sense in this particular song but still, gotta ask :)
