Keyan Williams playing the Art of Living on his KALI True Large Chamber saxophone mouthpiece.

"As a jazz saxophonist for many years I thought the perfect mouthpiece was a myth until I played the KALI. Big bright sound, but with a CORE, and that makes all the difference. I can go from a sweet altissimo to a rich low b-flat without a hitch. Versatility and power, all in an attractive package, makes the KALI the mouthpiece for me. Theo, I cant say thank you enough. - Keyan Williams

  • @ TheNakedDance....fantastic. You, my friend, are doing the good job. I love in particular how you signed up with this Youtube ID and the very same day took the time to track down virtually every video that has anything to do with Theo Wanne and thought up some kind of clever witticism for each one. I think somebody might just be a little bit jealous...hmmm?

  • Is the mouthpiece supposed to look better than it plays? If it is, then you did a good job.

  • Nice Keyan! Great tone!

  • wow you play wonderful !

  • What sets Keyan Williams apart from other saxophone players, is that he has his own sound. Complete sax player!

  • @RavTzizit that "scooped sound" is not entirely because of mixing and EQ, only partly. The mouthpiece that he plays on has a "large chamber" which adds extra low end and expands the sound of the sax... and yes, it scoops some mid range out of the sax sound. I've been waiting for Theo Wanne to come out with a medium chamber mouthpiece as opposed to the "true large chamber" that they have... I'm not a fan of the sound of the large chamber sound.

  • Dang. That's one husking sounding tenor :)

  • Been there done that.

  • The sound seems too scooped on mid frequencies... I fell it "tubby" and too punchy.

I think it's a wanted effect on mixing down.

  • marvelous sax player and marvelous sax sound!
