In this University of Maryland at College Park video, filmmaker Aisha Bain discusses her widely acclaimed documentary, Darfur Diaries: Message from Home, a film that was able to show the world the human rights abuses and civil war occurring in the Darfur region of Western Sudan. Bain talks about the dangers and challenges that she and two other young filmmakers had to overcome to create this moving film.
