  • i tried bantu knots last night...fail lol :( I have no idea what do do with my hair

    S.

  • @sheishell88 I'm sorry to hear that. Make sure that you're using lots of conditioner and your hair is wet. Also twisting the hair tight at the root is important. I'm not sure if you're natural or transitioning but since I still had long relaxed ends it hid my newgrowth. The style won't be as silky if you're natural, Good luck!

  • Hey! I think I I've seen you somewhere...anyways, nice video! Girl I am transitioning and I think I having the same issues as myhusbandsrib because my styles like bantu knots and braidouts don't last all week and my ng is so...massive right now I can barely put in ponytail. Do you redo your bantu knots everynight??

  • @Virtuousdezi If you live in Atlanta you may have, but I didn't re-do the bantu knots they lasted about a week usually though. I think it all has to do with how tight you do them (not too tight though) and how much time they have to set. I can't help you with the braidouts, I have never been good at them, natural or relaxed.

  • Hi, so happy that you r transitioning well, looks great. as for me, my natural hair is so strong and thick, it is breaking my permed hair off all over (especially the front)! I have about 3 inches of ng. I think im doing good with detangling, but I plan to cut off the perm in about 3-4 mnths. Q, should i be using permed hair products at this stage, or natural hair products? I think I need help, but im new to this, so not really sure. thx in advance!

  • @myhusbandsrib Oh I'm so sorry I am seeing this late I have been so busy and neglecting my page. I'm going to create an e-mail for this youtube when I get back to vid making. I hope all went well with your transition. I know it probably doesn't matter now but I used the same products I did with my relaxed hair and I still do, I just had to move slower and be more gentle.

  • @sheishell88 MAKE SURE YOU TWIST ALLL THE HAIR LIKE @VIRTUOUSDEZI SAID BEGIN AT THE ROOTS AND TRY TO MAKE THE ROOTS TIGHT.. AND BE VERY GENTLE AROUND THE EDGES

  • My hair is REALLY short. I wanna try some cute hairstyles.. but how do i even stretch my hair at the bottom?

  • @Nitra813 Thanks lol I'm so glad it helped! Good luck on transitioning your sister =)
