  • Ron Paul for president, Obama bye bye

  • @0Sindel12 But at least the people at PETA are funny.

  • I've never heard Glenn Beck say so many correct things before. He is usually so confused. And of course, Yaron Brook was good, too. Good segment altogether.

  • I suppose so I mean we are getting no where you don't want to accept fact and believe that actual lives must sacrifice themselves for non lives. Honestly this makes me think of the times I debated with PETA people who said that animal lives were equal to huma one Thanks for saying that you have given me the victory on my arguing skills. I hope you have a good life.

  • This has become a war of attrition and I am ready to give up. I believe every potential life has the right to develop into an actual life. You believe that the development of a potential life if it infringes upon the happiness of an actual life has no right to develop. Ok thats it lets agree to disagree. If we were debating in any meaningful scenerio I would give you the victory as you argued your point better than anyone ive ever heard before.

  • They both would naturally develop into actual life however the question here is if it will be able to and that is what determines the potential life vs. the actual life. It is no different then my argument on murder vs. self defense. By your logic in this equation murder is the same as self defense. When premises change so does the action required.

  • Your argument is flawed as one is a potential life that has no rights. To which if you aborted it at this stage this would be fine. However letting the pregnancy escalate into a life means that you are dealing with an actual one. Your analogy fails for on one hand you are terminating a potential life and in this situation no actual life will form. It is only in the next situation that you are dealing with harm to an actual life as it will be allowed to develop into one.

  • However the things she teaches are way over my head so I can't be much help there. Though I would prefer not to get into my aquaintances daily lives as they are not mine to give. On my facts they are based on science, choice and natural rights. Plus logic as well if you let the pregnancy escalate into a future human being then you are not dealing with a potential life but an actual life.

  • No I base my fact on the reaon that if you drink and smoke and then let said fetus/embryo/cluster of cells develop into a person then you are no longer just dealing with a potential life but a future actual life. To which if you choose to abort said entity you are not dealing with an actual life but in the other instance you are. On my friend I don't get involved in her work and her field is unfamiliar to me but she is in essence a biology teacher.

  • My argument to counter would be both are potential human beings and therefore both will inevitably develop into actual human beings. Both woman take action that harms the ability of that potential life to become actual life. One case is fine one is not.
