A brief lesson on Tequila - for the full story, tune in next week to dyanainmexico.blip.tv. Mexico is known for many things but certainly Tequila is something dear to the heart of most Mexicans. Leonardo de la Sierra, proprietor of the soon to open Tequila Museum in Mexico City, shares a short clip on how the agave plant contributes to the tequila process. For more about Leo's restaurant in Mexico City, a few steps from el Zocalo, check out: www.baralfonso.com.mx

  • Thank you for the advice! I look forward to visiting Tequila and Guadalajara. I think there is also a bus from Mexico City to Guadalajara, about 5-6 hours? Might be another option. Thanks again for your comment!

  • Dyana, you have to go to Tequila Jalisco. Take a flight via the Toluca airport south of the City. Interjet is the airline to Guadalajara. Once there take a bus to Tequila, where you will learn how tequila is made. Enjoy your trip to Guadalajara as you will fall in love with that City.
