Ace Combat X2 Joint Assault - Mission 21A - Reprisal - Part 2 (SP) Ace

This is Phase 2 of Mission 21A. This is the final show down with the Varcolac Squadron. And they're at their toughest and fastest. Make sure you keep moving during the first part. It's easy to eat missiles in this part since you are alone. Once you down everyone but Sulejmani it'll enter a story section and after awhile he'll actually be damageable.

Sulejmani is hard to hit with missiles because he has a machine gun on the back of his plane. A quick counter to this are weapons like the SASM. Weapons that blow up in a range and don't have to actually hit the target. Of course the machine will most likely be your friend here. He's not too difficult at first but as he gets less and less plane health he gets more insane.

Once he hits red he'll start dodging missiles with an insane and highly unrealistic aerial maneuver. He can also basically flip backwards instantly and shoot off missiles so be careful. The strategy for him is really up in the air. Sometimes he falls prey to "decoy" missiles and gets hit by the 2nd or 3rd missiles fired. Sometimes it's best to joust him like Pixy from Ace Combat Zero seeing as how he doesn't flip when he fires his missiles.

Once Sulejmani goes down you have one more thing to do. Just make sure you don't accidentally clip the building as your flying down low. There's a hilarious target in this part. You're basically locking onto a human being with a missile.

ODMM - Omnidirectional multipurpose missiles. They're basically XMAAs and LASMs put together. So pretty much amazing. Can lock onto air and ground targets from around 2500.

Engine - Rocket Motor MOD (Power Up/Mobility Up/Weight Up)
Wing - Thornback Fin (Stability Up)
Armor - Light Armor (Light Weight/Defense Down)
Avionics - GAF-1 Type AA (Mobility Up/Air to Air Up/Auto GUN Reticle)

flying underneath that building is like child's play compared to the insane tunnel flying that ace combat veterans have had to take on in the past. kinda disappointing for a final mission.

But no other Ace Combat let you shoot a civilian car with a missile. So that was kind of neat.

complete it on hard by getting an "S" rank on that stage

but be warned that "S" only appears if san francisco nor any of your objective is damage.Also try not getting to get killed,as it will also the cause of getting an "S" rank.

I'd been trying that,i completed the phase 1 with no damage,But it's really hard and it actually takes me 10 or 13 minutes to complete the first part but once i reached phase 2 i got hit with a missile,which is sulejmani's missile.I get killed with just one missile.I didn't kill nor damage any single one of them.They're just too fast for my zero.

@arafat88ryu to dodge thoes aegis missiles they will fly straight upwards thats your window try taking town the aegis's bridge by using both ur standard missiles and machine gun together before they go after you and its best if u use flanker due to its speed

@MrKingjoe96 To unlock mission 21B, u have to play mission 19 & 20 (yes,M19 AND 20. Not M19 & M20) in multiplayer mode at the campaign. Other mission like 5B (M3&4) and 12B (M7&8 and M9&10) also unlocked with your friend (multiplayer).

For SP01 u need to finish ALL Hard mission, I not sure y it not unlock for u yet even after u done all the mission on Hard.
