Here is a compilation of video clips that I shot on Friday, 18 April 2008 of the WMATA Rail Green / Yellow Line in WDC.
In connection with my ongoing Public Art in Public Spaces / Metro Art series the first clip is of "Community Rhythms" by Al Smith at the U Street/African-American War Memorial/Cardozo / Green Line Station when I was en route to a visit at the Whitman Walker Clinic.
While I then walked down 14th Street, across P to Dupont Circle and down Connecticut Avenue to the Farragut North Station which is where I began my return trip home, the remaining clips of the WMATA Rail represent those that I shot on my way back to Waterfront / SEU Staion.
They include three shot at the Gallery Place Station, lower leverl; one on board the green line / Anacostia train when at the L'enfant Plaza Station that, through the window of my train, the train that I captured folks, through the train, on the other side of the platform.
The final clip was shot at the Waterfront / SEU Station which is where I deboarded en route to my apartment in SW WDC.
