Grimlock is supposed to be the smartest transformer i read somewhere that a decepdacon (sorry if i spelt it wrong) was experimenting on grimlock to make him more powerful, to resemble dinosaurs back on earth and in order to do so it damaged his speech functions so hes really intellectual just his vocabulary is horrible

@Gunganfan - true, he was actually able to fool all of the Decepticons in Season One alone even Megatron, imagine that. Of course, Megatron didn't like to be outsmarted by an Autobot with a much smaller brain than his.
