San Diego Comic Con 2008 Video Diary - Day 0 (Preview Night)

For the first time, Anime Diet goes to Comic Con 2008! This is the account of Preview Night, when the exhibit hall (dealer room) is opened to press, pros, and 4-day pass holders. Who knew there were so many of them? And that it would take 90 minutes to get a pre-registered press badge?

I am trying to make a special effort to post these the evening of their shooting. So stay tuned for Day 1 coverage tomorrow!

"Beautiful World," by Hikaru Utada. It is the ending music to the new Evangelion remake movie, "You Are Not Alone." It seemed very appropriate in describing the beautiful city of San Diego. :) And thanks.

About Horton Plaza its a mall

u can get free transportation if u take the comic con shuttle.

When you want to go to a panel go there before time cause it will take you a while to get there if u r on the oppisite end!

and if u r in the exhibit hall and u want to go to a panel dont go through the exhibit hall but go thrugh the lobby

1)Bring Money

2)Bring Comfortable shoes

3)Bring somthing to eat or

B Go to Horton Plaza to eat and walk around for a bit to relax.

4)Look at the progaming book they give you when they give you your ticket and base your schedule off of that

5)If you got the 4 day tickets I reccomend you go to preview night and get your ticket there it will go much faster than the following day.

B If you got a one day ticket then go as early as possibe on the day you r going the lines get Lonng!

90 minutes is a lot better than the 5 HOURS I waited to buy a badge at ACen this year. Ugh!

Being in the wrong line is a common occurance at Comic Con

I was there too... Me and my family enjoed every minute of it.. We could hardly wait for the next convention. We hope they do it again in San Diego.
