it may be that it's streaming over youtube so the quality is not cd or 256k. it could be just that he uses different techniques like distorting his voice. looks like the other commenters didn't have a sound issue.

Yea idk man not really into indy thought I'd give this a try, but I really can't get over how indy singers sing and the production got on my nerves just being honest don't mean to sound like a troll or anything.

totally hear ya. it's not for everyone.
sometimes the last of production allows them to create interesting sounds. and occasionally indie bands lose their magic in the pricey studios!
