  • what styles influenced chuojiaofanzi?

  • @SigurdRoss I have heard my teacher say Wen Family boxing though I have never seen it. He also said that the Wen family boxing focused a lot on the Ditang. Chuojiaofanzi is the term used to describe the Beijing variant of Chuojiao from Wei Chengyi to Wei Zhankui to Wu Binlou. SifuWu on here is better versed on the history than I am. Also he has an excellent website you could check out.

  • are there any grappling techniques in chuojiao? As in includes many leg techniques, it should provide the possibility of the situation when the leg has been caught and the kicker fallen on the groud with the enemy holdin him.

And, by the way, do you have an operating website? The one that you mentioned isn't working.

  • @SigurdRoss @SigurdRoss Thank you for the questions. Yes Chuojiao has grappling like chin-na from the ground. Also many ground leg techniques that stem from the Ditang (ground boxing) side of chuojiao, and yes we have techniques we train daily for counters to your kick being caught. chuojiao.ca will take you to our current website. Thank you.

  • Nice dude. good to see some of the traditional forms combine with fancy acrobats.

  • @PlasticC4 Thanks. The acrobatics are traditional movements from the Ditang portion of Chuojiaofanzi.
