I read this book way back in high school and loved it .I hunted this movie down too. Still love it to this day . It's kinda crazy and weird and creepy . But good .

This movie is FABULOUS. The two main actors act with their eyes almost as much as anything else. GREAT casting. VERY sexy...hot stuff and Jeremy Irons is SO sext and debonair (in most scenes). Well done...sad and tragic. Not for the faint of heart.
