Final 2008 Elitlopp Trot Solvalla Racecourse Sweden

The Elitlopp, raced on Sunday at Solvalla Racecourse, was a huge succes for the French trainer Fabrice Souloy, whose horses finished one and two. Enough Talk, the U.S. entrant, owned and trained by Peter Kleinhans and driven by Luc Ouellette, finished third after a good trip.

The Italian-foaled but French-trained Exploit Caf, driven by Jean Michel Bazire, won the Elitlopp after a thrilling finish, in which he wore down his stablemate, Oiseau de Feux, driven by Björn Goop, who had led all the way.

Luc Ouellette succeeded in giving Enough Talk another pocket trip in the final, and then finished a good third, while Red Chile Pirate finished fourth, without racing room.

Exploit Caf won in 1:52.2.f.
