DO NOT TRY AT HOME!!! TO BE PERFORMED BY PROFESSIONALS AND LICENSED PEOPLE ONLY!!!

This is a 1 pound sodium benzoate whistle, made with my new tooling from http://pyro-stuff.nl/store/ It used approximately 35 grams of fuel, but I perhaps should have used a little more. The report consisted of a small amount of magnalium flash powder, hence the long echo.

  • haha nice one dude!

I have the same noise with mine as well, they just " Brrrrrrrt" and after 1 second they reach about 1000 feet :D

What was the catalyst you used?

  • @Piggeldy111 They go really fast indeed, but don't carry too much payload actually. This design gets 100 grams to 75 meters, which leaves some room for improvement.

I used extremely fine red iron oxide (Fe2O3) as catalyst.

  • It sure was ;-) . Should have taken a little bit more distance probably.
